I wish it was possible for me to run ALL of Austin’s pups myself, but that has not proven to be the case. Fortunately, I have a team of highly qualified and sweet-as-pie runners to help me out! Here’s the scoop on each of these awesome dog-lovers.

Ann Berry (pictured above)

Ann is a lifelong runner and lover of all animals, especially our furry best friends. Ann feels that running and walking dogs is not only beneficial for your pet but for her as well… she gets exercise and bonding time along with your dog. Flexible and energetic, she is happy to be a part of the Abby Loves Dogs team.

Kelsey Long (pictured above)

Kelsey is currently studying psychology at St. Edward’s University and volunteering at Town Lake Animal Shelter, as well as the Austin German Shepherd Rescue. She’s also in the process of training for the Capital of Texas Triathlon held here in Austin on May 31 (which she’s running to raise money for the German Shepherd Rescue)! Kelsey has always loved animals and currently has an 8 month old Border Collie/Blue Heeler mix who is the absolute love of her life, along with a 13 year old yellow lab (Heidi), and 2 cats, William and Pepper.

Ben Kullerd (pictured above)

Ben is a recent graduate from UT’s Radio-Television-Film and Latin American Studies programs. Bringing his 8-year-old Shar Pei and Border Collie mix, Pepper, to Austin with him three years ago was one of the best things he’s ever done, helping him get more exercise and spend more time outdoors. Ben has always been an animal lover, having grown up with cats and dogs his whole life. He loves to play with animals, cook, bake and visit Barton Springs for a dip in the cool water with his girlfriend, Caitlin, and Pepper.

 

Josh Gideon

Josh is currently finishing up his final year at Southwestern University in Georgetown where he is studying business and finance.  He has been running competitively since he was 12 and is a member of the Southwestern University Cross Country/Track team.  A life-time animal lover, Josh is the owner of 2 year old Yorkie-poo and is also a chinchilla breeder
